WELLINGTON COUNTY – Four people are dead and two others are being treated for life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Watson Road South in Wellington County.
Wellington County OPP say officers were called to the collision shortly after 1:30 Saturday morning. The crash happened on Watson Road South, just north of Wellington Road 34.
Detachment Commander Inspector Karen Medeiros confirmed six people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
“Of the six occupants in the vehicle, I’m sad to report that four of the occupants are deceased and two of the occupants have suffered life-threatening injuries and are being treated at hospital.”
Medeiros says police will provide further details during a media conference scheduled for 10 o’clock Sunday morning at the Wellington County OPP’s Rockwood office.
