Hydro One estimates that almost 130,000 people remain without power this afternoon.
Crews continue today to assess the damage and safely restore power following yesterday’s severe windstorm. High wind gusts of over 100 km/hour caused significant damage province-wide, and continue to move east.
Hydro One reminds you to be sure to stay clear of any fallen power lines. If you spot a fallen line, keep at least 10 meters back, even if it does not appear to be live. Report it to the police and call Hydro One immediately.
