FERGUS – The Township of Centre Wellington is advising residents of upcoming road construction in Fergus.
Starting Monday (September 28th), asphalt paving will take place on Bridge Street, between St. David Street and Tower Street, as well as Tower Street, between Bridge Street and McQueen Boulevard.
The work is expected to continue through the end of October and will take place during off-peak hours, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Both streets will remain open during construction, with one lane of two-way traffic maintained at all times.
The Township says the projects are needed because of significant road deterioration, and are being paid for almost entirely through a successful provincial grant.
